We are going to Disney in May and we are looking at hotels on site. Can you help me distinguish between Port Orleans Riverside and Caribbean Beach Resort? I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Cleanliness, room size, pools, ease of transport are key.

    Hi Heather!

That is a great question.  Both Walt Disney World Resort hotels have a lot of fans, but I greatly prefer Port Orleans Riverside over the Caribbean Beach Resort.  Mostly it is because I think the Caribbean Beach Resort is too spread out and makes getting around difficult, especially if you don't have a car.

Port Orleans Riverside has wonderful theming.  It has a wonderful pool area, but so does the Caribbean Beach Resort.  It also has a great food court.  One thing I really love is the boat service from Port Orleans Riverside to Downtown Disney.  It is a fun and relaxing way to get there, especially at night.

I hope this helps.  Good luck with your decision and please write back with more questions!
