Hey, hey Gina and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You sound like a Walt Disney World Resort regular with your "3 at a time" question. This can be confusing and I have to reorient my travel plans when I travel to the "west side" of Disney at Disneyland Resort. Let get this sorted out.
Disney FASTPASS Service is different from Walt Disney World Resort's
Disney FastPass+ Service in that you may only get Disney FASTPASS selections one-at-a-time once you are in the theme parks. There are no pre-scheduling Disney FASTPASS selections even if you are staying at a
Disneyland Resort hotel. Each new Disney FASTPASS selection may be acquired after the start of the return window for your current Disney FASTPASS selection. Typically, the maximum amount of time you would need to wait between Disney FASTPASS selections is two hours but if utilizing
Disney MaxPass it is usually 90 minutes or less. If your return window is 90 minutes or less then as soon as the return window starts you are eligible for another Disney FASTPASS selection.
Be sure to download the
Disneyland app. When you make a Disney FASTPASS selection through the app using Disney MaxPass (additional purchase but absolutely worth it), the app shows you the return times for all available Disney FASTPASS attractions to help you decide which to get. Once you make your selection, the app will alert you of the return time and even tell you when you can make another Disney FASTPASS selection. So while you are unable to schedule three in advance it is possible to have more than one depending on the return window.
Disney Dad Tip: Make sure to book a Disney FASTPASS selection for
World of Color and/or
Fantasmic! with your Disney MaxPass on the Disneyland app or stop by the distribution kiosk early in the day as space is limited. These are special Disney FASTPASSes as they are an addition to your current selection and do not prevent you from getting more.
Gina, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
