    We are going to Disney and managed to get a last minute reservation for breakfast at Chef Mickey’s for our party of 7. My mom is a light eater and may prefer to just have a cup of coffee and skip the buffet altogether. Does the entire party have to dine?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa! 

    Hooray for landing a coveted reservation to dine with the Fab 5 at Chef Mickey’s! This restaurant is so much fun for the entire family. My kids love it! Getting to dine with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto as you watch the monorail zoom by inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort is pure Disney magic! I hope you enjoy it as much as my crew does. 

    Lisa, because Disney’s buffets are open to all guests inside the restaurant, anyone that is seated will be charged for the meal, regardless of what they end up enjoying.  I’m not a big breakfast eater myself, but there’s something about yummy Mickey-shaped waffles that can be topped with all sorts of delicious goodies that I can’t say no to. There are lighter options too that might be something your mom can enjoy. Seasonal fruits, yogurt parfaits, and tasty pastries are all included.     I hope your mom chooses to join you. Maybe she can declare that breakfast a brunch so you can all enjoy a tasty start to what I’m sure will be a magical day!

    Be sure to have your camera ready while you dine for all the fantastic photo-ops with your favorite characters. I bet you’ll end up with so many fun pictures from that one fun meal.
