Is the Disney Making Memories photo package worth the cost?

Hi, Tiffany! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us this great question!

I believe you are making reference to the Memory Maker service, and to sum up my answer in one word- YES! Having recently returned from a Walt Disney World Resort vacation and having taken over 400 Disney PhotoPass photos and videos, I can say with confidence that you will not regret the purchase! I love the variety of images that my family received from Attraction photos to Disney Character meet and greets to Magic Shots and the fact that I could download and share them to social media practically immediately after they were taken were a big bonus for me. I know many people who wait until they get home to log-on to their Disney account and view and download their photos, but I just love sharing with my friends and family back home throughout my day! I will admit that sometimes, my family would get slightly annoyed with me always wanting to stop for the PhotoPass photographer but they sure do love looking at our memories now that we are back home!

Once you activate Memory Maker, you have 30 days to capture your memories and photos will remain in your media account for 45 days from the date they were taken. Also, you can add fun borders and a little magic to your images through your media account! Remember to purchase Memory Maker at least 3 days before you plan to activate it in order to qualify for the advanced purchase savings!

I hope you have a picture perfect vacation and please come and visit us again soon!
