Your magical
Alaskan cruise is just around the corner! Time to start
packing...don't forget to pack a bit of everything as the weather in Alaska is so unpredictable. Plan to dress in layers so you will be ready for any temperature and always have a rain jacket handy for those rainy days. Take along a backpack to carry around your personal items when heading out for your
Port Adventures.
While the ports of call are amazing, you will also find non-stop activities while on the
Disney Magic. The
Edge is the perfect place for 11–14-year-olds to hang out with fellow tween/early teen sailors. Activities planned include video games, movies, trivia, dance parties, and so much more. Stop by on embarkation day to check out the facilities. The counselors will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the Edge and all they have planned for your sailing. The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App will have all the activities listed so your kids will not miss any of the fun.
My daughter is now in her 20's, but she has such fond memories of her time in the clubs as a tween and teen. She has even run into old friends from the clubs who are now working with Disney Cruise Line. What special bonds these "Disney" kids form amongst their travel pals!
If you have some free time while your kids are in the Edge, stop by the
Senses Spa & Salon. Book an appointment for a massage or facial. What a perfect way to relax during your vacation. I am a big fan of the Rainforest Room where you will enjoy heated loungers and hot/cold rain showers. Ask for a tour when visiting the spa.
