Does the Disney Magic ship have magical/virtual potholes for their inside rooms?

    Hi George!

Welcome to planDisney! We are thrilled to have you onboard with a great question. The Disney Magic lives up to its name with its Broadway-caliber shows, fabulous food, deck parties, character greetings, and MINNIE more surprises.

Sounds like you've done your homework and have your sights set on an Inside Stateroom. I can SEA why you’d ask about magical portholes because they are so cool! Using four high-definition video cameras, the porthole offers a real-time view outside the ship...plus a few Disney characters might pop by from time to time! Staterooms featuring a Magical Porthole are available only on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. But hey, more reason to try every ship in the Disney fleet, I say!

So the Disney Magic may not have magical portholes, but what it DOES have is Marvel Day at Sea itineraries, the AquaDunk waterslide, and the fabulous Rapunzel’s Royal Table as one of the restaurants for rotational dining. Speaking of Rapunzel, don’t miss the awesome show Tangled: The Musical in the Walt Disney Theatre. If you simply can’t wait to see this one, there’s even a virtual viewing available online! Finally, this ship sails to some of the most fantastic destinations in the world, including the Caribbean, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Canada, and the Mediterranean.

So after hearing about all these unique features and itineraries, I hope you agree that you don’t really need a magical porthole in your stateroom because there’s so much to be seen all around the Disney Magic! To learn more about every inch of the ship, check out these deck plans to get your bearings. And remember to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you set sail to stay on top of all the activities and entertainment options onboard.

I hope you have the most MAGICal and memorable adventures at sea. Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!

    Happy Sailing!
