On Disney Magic, what is the Marvel Day menu?

    Ahoy there, Jane!

Welcome aboard planDisney! I love that you’re already thinking ahead to what heroic eats await you onboard the Disney Magic. A Marvel Day at Sea sailing is always a standout, and the themed dinner menu is one of those experiences that feels like it was pulled straight out of Avengers HQ.

Now, the information I’m about to share technically requires Omega Level S.H.I.E.L.D. clearance, and it’s extremely important that this intel is used responsibly. Alright, fine… it’s not classified, but it is important to remember that menus are always subject to change. Your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your official mission briefing once you’re onboard.

While I can’t squeeze the entire menu into one transmission, the Marvel Day at Sea dinner menu is one of the most creative Disney offers. Based on past sailings, it’s broken down by Marvel heroes, which makes ordering feel a bit like assembling your own Avengers team. Here’s what has appeared previously and may return on your sailing:

    Appetizers
    • Black Widow: Sliced Smoked Salmon or Cream of Porcini Mushroom Soup
    • Black Panther: Kachumbari Salad or Wakandan Piri Piri
    • Iron Man: Californian Strawberry and Walnut Salad or Chilled Californian Avocado Soup
    • Captain America: Crispy Fried Maryland Crab Cake or Farmhouse Appetizer

    Entrées
    • Thor: Roasted Scandinavian Cod Filet or Mjölnir Meatballs and Pasta
    • Hawkeye: Baked Buttermilk Corn-Fed Chicken or Roasted Pork Tenderloin “Huntsman”
    • Incredible Hulk: Rosemary Roasted Beef Tenderloin or Dr. Banner’s Greens and Lobster Salad
    • Scarlet Witch: Gingered Soba Noodles or Ricotta Gnocchi

    Dessert
    • Collector’s Warm Apple Crisp
    • Bounty Hunter (pastry filled with raspberry and custard)
    • Ravagers’ Devil’s Food Cake
    • Awesome Mixed Sundae (Rocky Road ice cream)
    • “Southern Nights” (vanilla cheesecake with a pecan nut custard base and salted caramel sauce)
    • Flora Colossus Sapling (olive oil and pistachio brownie)

This menu is a total scene-stealer, and there are so many great options that narrowing it down feels harder than choosing a favorite Avenger. I’ve absolutely ordered multiple desserts because some missions require sacrifice, and by sacrifice, I mean an extra dessert. This is also one of those evenings where I plan a lighter lunch so I can fully commit once dinner begins.

I hope this helps as you plan your Marvel Day at Sea experience. It’s one of those Disney Cruise Line nights that delivers on theme, flavor, and fun all at once. Until then, keep your clearance badge handy and your appetite ready.

Sea ya real soon as the adventure continues into a bright new year,
    Dustin
