    We are going on disney Magic Feb 11 2013 and would like to know if my grandson, son and husband can wear short to the dinning room on pirates night or do they have to change after dinner.

    Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Magic -- my family and I are sailing on this ship very soon, and we can't wait for our turn to sail!

    For most evening dining in the main three restaurants on board, the attire is "cruise casual" -- which means no shorts, tank tops or swimwear. However, for Pirate Night, guests seem to be a bit more casual at dinner since most everyone is sporting swashbuckling attire. More than likely, if the guys in your group are donning their piratical best -- no one will ask them to change from shorts before dinner. However, on other evenings or if they're not in "character" on pirate night, they might get stopped before entering the restaurant...but at least they won't have to walk the plank!
