Ahoy there, Jason!
It's great to hear from you again, as your Alaskan sailing inches closer to reality. I always like to book my cruises early, so I know how exciting it is when all the planning comes together just before the cruise. It won't be long before you're sailing away from
Canada Place in Vancouver!
The Disney Magic does plan to offer the
Frozen-themed deck party on your
week-long voyage. The entertainment schedule is always subject to change, so you'll want to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you log in at the cruise terminal or once on the ship to check for any Frozen-themed fun planned. On my Alaskan sailing, this happened on the day we cruised through the glacier (Day 3), which provided the perfect, enchanting wintry backdrop for all the frosty festivities!
As you prepare for fun ashore on your August
Alaska adventure, Jason, I encourage you to have a few options picked out when your booking window opens. This will help in case any of your top choices are sold out. There are so many wonderful
port adventures offered in these magical ports of call, so I hope it's easy to have a few in mind. When I visited, I was able to see the landscape and wildlife from various modes of transportation, so keep that in mind as you browse all the offerings. One day, we managed to fit in a morning and an afternoon excursion to make the most of that day in port. It doesn't always work out with timing, but it's worth considering if you can't decide between two adventures.
Thank you for continuing to visit planDisney, Jason. We hope you'll keep us in mind in the future.
Have a MAGICal day,
Nancy
