Ahoy, Liz!
Congratulations on booking your first Disney Cruise vacation! You're in for a truly magical experience. You'll be amazed by the personalized service and attention to detail you'll experience as a guest of Disney Cruise Line. I'm excited to hear you'll be sailing on the
Disney Magic. With recent renovations and reimagining of several spaces onboard, the Magic is more awesome than ever!
Your boys will especially love the new areas in the
Youth Clubs. With the addition of the Marvel's Avengers Academy to the Oceaneer Club, it's the perfect fit for your little super heroes! With their own top-secret command center, they'll have a blast training and preparing for missions, all while discovering their own superhero skills.
The Dine and Play option you're referring to is only available to guests that dine during second seating. When we had early seating, we would simply ask our servers to expedite the kids' meals. Their food would come out a bit quicker than the adult meals, and the kids would usually finish right before our desserts came out. One of the adults (usually me!) would gather the kids and walk them to the Youth Club in between our entrees and dessert. It only takes a few minutes to deliver them safely to the club, and I'd make it back to the dining room in time for a nice, relaxed dessert. After dinner, while the kids are entertained with games and activities in the club, the adults can enjoy the
nightclubs and lounges. It's a win-win!
I hope this helps with your planning. Please come back and visit us here at the Moms Panel if you have more questions before you sail!
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
