I am so glad you came to planDisney, Michelle. With the winter weather forecasts calling for dropping temperatures, thoughts of lounge chairs by the pool on the way to the Caribbean have me like Olaf, longing for summer and warm hugs.
Did you know soft drinks are included in your Disney Cruise? Sodas, drip coffee and tea are available in the restaurants and from
drink stations on Deck 9 on the Disney Magic. I've always appreciated these being included and readily available.
Living in the heart of Coca-Cola's hometown, I also know the importance of your beverage of choice. Disney Cruise Line does allow you to bring cans of soda and energy drinks on board with you. These must be sealed in their original container and carried on with you. They cannot be in your checked luggage. There is no limit on the amount you can bring, but you will have to carry them with you through check-in, security, boarding, and your first few hours on the ship if you have an early port arrival time. Staterooms do not become available until later in the afternoon. You may want to consider how - and how many - you could carry comfortably.
If you have any concerns about what is allowed, the
list of prohibited items provides great guidance.
Thinking of lounging on the deck and drinks, have you heard of the Drink of the Day? You can check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or ask a bartender for each day's selection. My favorite is the one they serve at the Sail-A-Wave party. "Which one is that," you may ask. Any. The one in my hand while waving as the port becomes distant on the horizon is my favorite.
I hope this is helpful as you plan for a memorable adventure on the Disney Magic. If you have any other questions,
planDisney is here for you!
Cheers,
Jana
