Can Disney Magic Band + be used on the Wonder between Sydney Aus and Hawaii -the repositioning cruise?

Ahoy there, Kim! Thank you for sailing by planDisney with your question.

The MagicBand+ that you use at the Disneyland Resort or the Walt Disney World Resort can be used in place of the DisneyBand+. You will also be issued a Key to the World card. I checked with a Disney Cruise Line representative to ask about your specific sailing and was told that you would be able to use your MagicBand+ during the repositioning cruise. This will help you be hands-free when accessing your stateroom and making purchases in the shops and lounges.

I checked out your itinerary, and it looks like it will be full of sea days! Some of my favorite things to do on sea days are to have brunch at Palo, read a book on my verandah, and meet up with my favorite Disney characters for a photo. On the Disney Wonder, I always stop by the French Quarter Lounge for beignets. There are usually activities going on in this area, such as arts and crafts, live music, and trivia as well. Check out the onboard activities listed in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you step onboard.

Kim, if you have any other questions or need planning tips, come back to visit us at planDisney.

    Aloha!
