which disney lounges offer food? Thinking of something different for a light dinner

    Hi Melissa,

It's nice to hear from you again, and thanks for being such a loyal visitor to the Disney Parks Moms Panel over the years!

My husband, daughters and I have always loved dining in Walt Disney World lounges. It's one of our favorite ways to wind down a day in the parks, with an adult beverage and some light fare. Many of the lounges are adjacent to signature dining restaurants and share the same quality food in a more casual environment.

    Some of our favorites:
    • Crew's Cup -- Next door to the Yachtsman Steakhouse in the Yacht Club resort, a short walk from the International Gateway entrance of Epcot, Crew's Cup is a cozy place for a charcuterie and cheese board, prime rib sliders or a delicious burger.
    • Nomad Lounge -- Tucked next to Tiffins Restaurant in Animal Kingdom, Nomad Lounge is a perfect spot to relax on the porch or on comfy chairs inside the lounge. I love everything on the menu here, especially the sliders and the ribs.
    • Sanaa Lounge -- Adjacent to Sanaa in Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village, the lounge serves the famous Sanaa bread service (a meal in itself), salad sampler and a few other African-spiced appetizers, including a plant-based samosa. Yum!
    • Territory Lounge -- Off the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge, just past the giant fireplace, Territory Lounge is cozy and quiet. Try the artisanal meats and cheeses, the fondue with pretzel bread, the crispy Asian chicken wings or other bar food with a twist.
    • Victoria Falls Lounge -- Above Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House, Victoria Falls features South African wines, but the dark wood and warm atmosphere always entice me to order a Manhattan along with a mushroom flatbread, a burger or a plate of olives.
    • Barcelona Lounge -- In the lobby of the new Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs Resort, Barcelona Lounge's menu leans more to the munchy than the substantial, but the bright stained glass bar is a perfect backdrop for a specialty cocktail and a plate of artisanal cheese. Want heartier appetizers? Check out Three Bridges Bar & Grill in the middle of the lake just across from Gran Destino Tower.
    • Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar -- While not a resort lounge, Jock Lindsey's is our go-to spot in Disney Springs for a beer and a bite to eat (a flatbread, a tuna taco, a slider or a giant pretzel). The subtle Indiana Jones theme is fun, too.
I hope that gives you lots of ideas, Melissa. You can explore other lounges' menus here. Please check back any time for more recommendations. Cheers!
