We're going to Disney in late Aug and had a question about the BBB at the MK. My sister is 12 and on the fence about getting the makeover (really wants to but is worried that she will be too old). What would you say? My brother is getting knight pkg. too.

    Hi there, Emelie!

At 12, it's easy to see why your sister is "on the fence" about doing the makeover. Sure, it might seem like the fairy godmothers-in-training are working on little princesses all day long!

But in fact, kids of ALL ages - ad some grownups, too! - participate in the fun of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Maybe you could call the godmothers at (407) WDW-STYLE for some reassurance; I can tell you that if the participant isn't dressed like a princess, the makeup and hair are just super-cool and funky. And there is no reason for her to feel that she needs to put on a full princess costume in order to get the most out of the time.

If she wants a crazy-cool hairdo and a professional makeup job, this is an excellent place to have that kind of experience. No one is ever looked at "oddly" at Walt Disney World for taking part in the fun: it's one of the best aspects of planning to go be yourself in the most magical place on Earth!

    See you later, celebrator,
