We are going to be in Disney the last week of August. Other than the heat how's the weather usually that time of year?

Monica you will definitely need to be aware of the heat of August for your upcoming trip.  The temperatures will range from highs of 90 and lows of 72.  It is so important to keep hydrated during these humid Florida months so keep water on hand for the entire family during your days in the parks.

You will still most likely have to handle the afternoon rain and thunderstorms.  For the natives this becomes something they just deal with on a daily basis.  I suggest you don't panic and instead purchase the inexpensive Disney rain ponchos if need be and stay in the parks and enjoy the attractions and rides that are under the cover of a roof.  Many people leave when the rains begin making lines shorter for those who are willing to stick it out.

You might be lucky and have a rain free week but by being prepared you will enjoy your days to their fullest!
