I have been to Disney Land several times including my Honeymoon. But this will be our first time to Disney world, or even Florida for that matter. We will be going for our two year anniversary. What is something that you would recommend for a young couple.

    Latosha:

There is so much to do at Disney for every budget for a young couple. Here are a few ideas to consider:

    • Splurge on your resort. Still pining away for your honeymoon? Choose one of the Garden Rooms at the Boardwalk Inn. These little oases include a patio from which to see some of Epcot's fireworks, a downstairs living area and kitchenette along with a jacuzzi tub.
    • Enjoy a special dinner. Lots of choices abound, but one of my favorites is California Grill atop the Contemporary Hotel not only for its delicious menu but its spectacular views. I prefer an early seating while the sun is still up. Request a window table for maximum romance.
    • Get outside of the parks. If you're on a budget, one of the best vacation values is the Water Parks and More option added to your ticket. Choose from a fun day together at one of the water parks, DisneyQuest for all-you-can-play gaming or miniature golf.
    • Explore unique experiences. Book a carriage ride, cruise or Sea Raycer. The deluxe resorts offer marinas with lots of recreation choices. Consider renting a bike or canoe if your pocketbook can't handle some of the more expensive choices.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
