Does Disney Land require you to have a clear see thru bag, purse, etc. to enter the park?

Hey there, hi there, Lisa! Welcome to planDisney. We love helping Guests get with their planning questions. Let's get you an answer!

With your visit quickly approaching, I am sure you are starting to pack and get all the details figured out. I am happy to share that you do not need a clear/see-through bag to enter the park. Any purse, tote, or backpack will do! Not only can you bring in a bag, but you can also bring in food as well. While I am someone who loves trying the newest food options Disneyland has to offer, I definitely am known to bring in a snack or two! When my kids were younger we always had a backpack full of snacks to keep them busy in attraction queues and downtime. You can also bring in water bottles and there are refillable water stations throughout both parks.

If you are bringing a backpack or larger bag and don't wish to carry it around all day, you can rent a locker for the day. Locker rentals can be found inside both parks as well as outside of each park near the turnstiles. You can find the exact locations in the Disneyland app by searching "locker locations" and then tapping on "find on map".

Lisa, I hope you have the most magical visit this week. See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
