Since Disney land is opening back up do we make reservations for our spots to get in or how is it going to work? If I do need a reservation to get in where do I make one?

Hey Owen, thanks for dropping by planDisney again with more questions for us. We enjoy helping returning Guests plan their Disney vacation.

While there are speculations swirling around that California theme parks can reopen on April 1st, 2021, however Disneyland Resort has not announced theme park reopening plans yet. So many people are eagerly waiting for Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels to safely reopen, myself included! And I’m going to take a hunch that you’re also more than ready to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park!

Because there still have not been announcements or plans for Disneyland Resort theme park reopening, it is unclear what the exact procedures will be to obtain reservations for park entry. What I can report is that over in Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Guests have been making park reservations via Disney Park Pass system. I’m speculating it may be a similar process: Guest checks whether desired arrival dates and specific park(s) are available via the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, then Guest purchases theme park tickets; it is then highly recommended for the Guest to make a theme park reservation through the Disney Park Pass system for the specific date and park immediately after purchasing tickets. Again, this is just speculation and I’m only speaking from personal experience with my upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort. I suggest that you stay up to date to Disneyland.com and Disney Parks Blog for the latest official park news and information.

What are you looking forward to when the Disneyland Resort theme parks reopen? I can’t wait to ride the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, a.k.a. the “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” and go cruisin’ on Radiator Springs Racers

As you begin to plan your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth after it reopens, please don’t hesitate to stop by planDisney again for more tips and advice. We’re all EARS!

    Sending you Pixie Dusts,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
