Bonjour and welcome to planDisney!
I am so happy you stopped by with a question about your upcoming visit to
Disneyland Paris. As a UK Guest, I love how quick and easy it is to get to the magic, and in my opinion, Disneyland Park is the most beautiful Disney Park in the world. Just wait until you see Sleeping Beauty Castle in person!
It looks like you are having a bit of trouble with the
Disneyland Paris app. Guests staying in Disney Hotels are able to make table reservations and book My Royal Dream from the time their Hotel + Ticket Package is confirmed. If you do have a package booked, the first thing I would recommend is double-checking that your reservation is correctly linked to your account in the app. If everything looks fine there, head to your app store and make sure you are running the latest version of the Disneyland Paris app. If that does not do the trick, uninstalling and reinstalling the app often works wonders. While we are talking about the app, when you have it open at the Disney Parks, a really useful feature is the ability to find where
different characters meet - our family's favourite to meet is Donald Duck (NUMBER ONE!)
Ross, there is also another way to make a reservation for My Royal Dream, and that is via the Disneyland Paris website on a computer. Navigate to the My Royal Dream page and scroll down to ‘Book Now’. You will be asked to log in, and if a Disney Hotel reservation is linked to your account, you will be able to book further in advance than the standard one-month window. The same applies to dining reservations. Simply head to ‘Dining’ and then select
‘Book your restaurant tables’. Once logged in, Guests with a linked Disney Hotel reservation can book restaurants more than two months ahead for the duration of their stay.
If you are still deciding where to dine, I highly recommend checking out the buffet restaurants in the Disney Hotels, especially those at Hotels you are not staying at, as it is a great way to experience more of the Disneyland Paris resort. My top pick is
Chuck Wagon Cafe at Disney Hotel Cheyenne, where you will find a real cowboy cookout in the heart of a western town. Standout dishes on our most recent visit included the fried chicken and the noodle station. Another fantastic option is
Downtown Restaurant at Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel. This sleek restaurant serves a mix of classic American and Asian dishes, but in my experience, it can be one of the trickiest reservations to secure due to its popularity.
I hope this answers your question today, Ross, and that your technical difficulties are soon behind you. Have fun planning your trip, and if you have any further questions, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help!
Have a very merry Christmas!
Matt
