    How does Disney know you belong in the park which has late magic hours?

    Hi LeRoy,

    That's an awesome question. The answer is the MagicBand! Your resort reservations are linked to your MagicBands through your My Disney Experience account, and, during Extra Magic Hours, you must scan your MagicBand to enter the park early. Or, during evening Extra Magic Hours, you must scan your MagicBand at any rides or attractions. If you don't have a valid resort reservation linked to the band, you won't be able to enter.

    It's that simple. 

    If you are staying at the Swan and Dolphin or at Shades of Green, which also offer the Extra Magic Hours benefit, you will need to show your resort ID.
