At disney 7/12 -19, with my kids 3, 5 yrs. Getting 4 days park hop.How much spending money should Calc.for the 4 days? Food, drink and a small/medium souvenir for the kids pr. park. No character dinner, doing that on 1 of the days we not at a park. THX:)

    Hi Monica,

This is always a tricky question, since every family is different.  I'm assuming that by "small" souvenir, you mean something that costs $20 or less.  That certainly won't get you a t-shirt, but you can get an autograph book, small toy, light up souvenir for that price.  I think $20 per park is manageable for small children.  In some parks you'll probably spend a bit less, and in some parks you might spend a bit more.  A pair of Mickey ears will cost you about $18.

As far as dining goes, are you planning on eating 3 meals per day?  I would say that an average counter service meal for adults costs about $12 per person  and $6 per person for children.  So $36 per meal x 3 is a little over $100.  I would go ahead and factor in 3 meals per day.

If it were my family, I would budget about $175 per day.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes.
