We will be in Disney for both of our kids birthdays this April. We know we can get them birthday buttons, but some people have mentioned needing proof of their date of birth to get them or any of the 'perks'. Is this true?

    No worries John!

Celebration buttons are happily given out to guests no questions asked. Disney loves families to celebrate with a visit to the mouse and does not care when you wish to recognize a birthday, anniversary, or other special event. Feel free for your children to eat cake and wear a happy birthday button any date you choose. During 2009 Walt Disney World did offer free admission on your birthday so a valid id or birth certificate was needed to receive a complimentary ticket, but this offer expired a little over three years ago.

    Happy birthday to your children!
