Welcome back to planDisney. There is nothing like the holidays in the parks, and Disney certainly knows how to celebrate them. My fellow panelists and I are planning on attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year as well, and we can’t wait to experience all of the festivities. Let’s see what we can do to get you an answer so you can continue your planning.
Alrighty, so I was checking out all of the latest information for this year’s party on
Disney Parks Blog, and as of right now, there have not been any official announcements on what characters will be rocking the night away at this year’s Disney Juniors Jingle Jam at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. From what I could find, it does look like previous years’ characters have included Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, Fancy Nancy, and the Lion Guard, to name a few. In my experience, this can certainly change as there are always new shows, which means new characters could appear this year. I would keep an eye out on the blog page for all of the latest updates to the party as they are released.
Since it sounds like your kids love Disney Junior characters, let me tell you about one of the coolest new places to meet some of them during your visit. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can now find Disney’s Animation Courtyard. In this new area dedicated to
Disney’s Animation-Inspired Experiences, you can find Disney’s Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live along with The Magic of Disney’s Animation experience. We got to visit this area during our last visit, and you might even find a few Disney Junior characters here every once in a while.
