Going to Disney June 24-July 1 with my husband and our 8 month old, who loves water. Heard typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach both have kiddie areas, does anyone know which one is best? Thanks!

    Hi Beth!

You are correct, both water parks have children’s areas that are specifically for kids 48” and under.  In my opinion, I think there are more features in Typhoon Lagoon’s Ketchakiddee Creek for an 8 month old.  There is a waterfall, sprayers, splash zones, small slides and a little creek that my son loves playing in when he was a baby.  Blizzard Beach’s Tike’s Peak has larger slides (that Mommy and Daddy can go down with baby), a shallow wading pool with a waterfall and some splashers.  They are both excellent areas for small kids.  Additionally, you can take your baby on the family raft rides and the lazy rivers at both water parks.  I’m sure your family will have a blast no matter which park you choose to visit!

    Have a magical day!
