Hi Cathy,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're planning a fantastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation for this summer! I definitely think choosing the Park Hopper Plus option for your tickets is a wise choice. A 6-day
Theme Park Ticket with Park Hopper Option gives you six days of Theme Park admissions and 6 Water Park admissions to use within 10 days of the date your tickets begin.
You have total freedom of how you choose to use these tickets. Using a Water Park admission does not take away a Theme Park admission. You can absolutely do 2 Water Park days and 6 Theme Park days. You can visit a Theme Park and a Water Park on the same day. Since this option includes Park Hopping, you can start your day at one Theme Park, visit a Water Park in the afternoon, and finish your evening at another Theme Park. For example, you could visit
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park in the morning, after lunch you could splash through your afternoon at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, then visit
Magic Kingdom Park to close your day with the Happily Ever After fireworks show. Such a day would be exhausting but would only use one Theme Park admission and one Water Park admission.
Cathy, I think your vacation plans sound fantastic! Thank you for visiting us with another great question. I hope you will let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
