We are going to Disney in June and we have 4 day passes. We aren't sure with the ages of our kids that they will want to visit all 4 parks. If we have to pick one park not to go to, which one would you say is the least kid friendly for children 4-8?

    Hi Jenny:

Let's start with the easy Park not to skip.  For kids 4-8, your best bet for Park to not skip is Magic Kingdom.  Magic Kingdom is so expansive and fun that your children may want a second day at the Park.

Epcot has a reputation that it can't seem to shake that it's not a a "fun" Park.  But my boys, now ages 8 and 7, have always loved Epcot.  At Epcot, we take in Soarin’, the newly refurbished Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Mission: Space, Living with the Land, the Innoventions pavilions, and visit The Seas.  We also tour the countries of World Showcase. A high highlight of World Showcase for my boys is Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure, an interactive experience around the pavilions. They also enjoy learning about different cultures as they interact with Cast Members from around the world.  Of course every family is different, but if you are planning to head to Walt Disney World for four days, I would strongly consider dedicating a day to Epcot.

I also cannot imagine a visit to Disney World without a visit to Hollywood Studios so my boys can enjoy Toy Story Mania, Star Tours, and Muppet Vision 3-D.  For my family, if we skip a Park, it tends to be Animal Kingdom.  To us, it's kid friendly, but not as much fun as the other Parks.  But I know others have different opinions.  If your children really enjoy animals, or the Park looks like it's for you, then make sure you take in Kilimanjaro Safari and Conservation Station when you visit.

    Enjoy your vacation.
