    Hello will be in disney in june. We already have magic bands from our last trip. Is it true that we will get new ones mailed to us anyway once i customize them on the app? I also heard that we can use the ones we have? How do i do this? What way is easier

    Hi Christina!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love the excitement of customizing MagicBands and receiving them in the Mickey-mail before your trip. Currently, all Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests receive a new set of customized MagicBands for every trip. So you will receive a new set this year. Our family uses the personalization to include the year of our trip as an easy way to identify this year's bands. Both your old and new MagicBands will be linked to your My Disney Experience account. You can check the status of your MagicBands through the My Disney Experience website or mobile app. If you have multiple MagicBands attached to your account, you can use either of them. Generally, Cast Members recommend deactivating MagicBands that you are no longer planning on using. I have also heard that the system can get confused if you have too many MagicBands attached to each individual in your account, but two MagicBands per person should be fine. So you can use whatever set you like!
