Hi Tricia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
A few years ago, my family and I experienced the
Fourth of July fireworks at our favorite vacation destination for the first time and they were spectacular! It was a last minute trip, but it turned out to be one of our favorite vacations ever!
We chowed down on some tasty American classics in Magic Kingdom Park during our July visit like hot dogs at Casey's Corner, a Patriot's Platter at Liberty Tree Tavern, and the Saloon Feast at The Diamond Horseshoe. Even though the fireworks in Magic Kingdom Park are extra crowded for the holiday, it is worth it! Make sure to get your spot early.
If your kiddos want a meet-and-greet with Characters, but want to focus on rides in the theme parks, a
Character Dining experience may be the perfect balance for your family. Chef Mickey's is a must-do for me because it includes my favorite characters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse!
Satu'li Canteen and Flame Tree Barbecue in Disney's Animal Kingdom are my favorite Quick-Service spots there, while Tusker House Restaurant has a fun Character Dining twist where they are all dressed up in their safari gear! Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant would be a great stop for your teenagers with familiar foods that all ages enjoy, but also a really cool atmosphere!
Epcot favorites include Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria's pizza, Teppan Edo's hibachi, and Sunshine Seasons' huge variety of meals AND unique desserts. While you are in Epcot, make sure to stop by to see Voices of Liberty perform. Their renditions of American classic songs makes me tear up every time!
Enjoy your summer vacation, Tricia! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
