I am going to Disney in July 2, 2009. I have been planning this for 3 years and I want to make it very memorable. I will be traveling with my 10 year old. I would like to know where to go to make plans to meet as many characters as possible. Thanks Dawn.

With all your great planning Dawn I know this is going to be a special trip for you and your son!

One of the best ways to see and interact with the Disney characters is through a character dining experience.  Please click HERE to see the dining page and then on the left side click on DINING EXPERIENCES.  Check Character Dining and this will bring you a list of dining opportunities that include the characters.  Since character sightings can vary they will list the main star for those meals but often many others are there to join them.  They will circulate around the dining rooms and stop at each table to ensure all guests can get a quick photograph and autograph with each one. Many of these such as Chef Mickey are extremely popular and will book out very quickly so be sure and call 90 days out from your vacation arrival date to get a reservation to character dining.  That number is 407-939-3463.

There will also be character meet and greets in each park on a daily basis. As you enter a park be sure and pick up a Times and Entertainment guide to see the locations for those.
