Hi Sarah,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for sending us your question. You made a great choice in adding the Disney Dining Plan, my family loves the convenience of the plan and all of the fantastic dining options available throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
The credits for the
Disney Dining Plan are calculated per night of your stay, so because you check in on the 25 and check out on the 28th, your credits will be based on a three night stay. With the Disney Dining Plan, each person in your party will have 3 Table-Service credits, 3 Quick-Service credits and 6 Snacks, while with the Quick-Service Dining Plan you will have 6 Quick-Service credits and 6 Snacks to use through out your visit. The credits are activated upon check-in and expire at midnight on the day of your check out. You are able to use the credits as you wish, whenever you would like during your stay. I like to create an itinerary prior to arriving at Walt Disney World Resort to make sure we are able to use all of our credits.
If you are planning on visiting Table-Service dining locations, I would strongly recommend booking Advanced Dining Reservations as soon as possible. Most of these restaurants are very popular and fill up quickly.
Advanced Dining Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance online or by calling (407) 939-1947.
I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort next month, Sarah. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
Stephanie
