What is the Disney Jr dance party at HS? Is it only during evening magic hours and if so what time? Is there any other special events during HS evening magic hours?

    Hi Kimberly,

We just returned from a trip and visited Disney's Hollywood Studios during evening Extra Magic Hours (EMH). We spent a lot of time at the Disney Junior Dance Party.  It is held only during evening EMHs.  It started right at the time EMHs started and lasted until the end.  Its held in the Disney Junior - Live on Stage theater.  They will check to make sure everyone has a Key To The World Card to enter.

During the dance party, characters from Disney Junior were there dancing.  There were 8 characters that rotated in and out of the party and there were 4 on the floor at a time.  We saw Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Handy Mandy, JoJo, Quincy & Annie (from Little Einsteins).

The Disney Junior Dance party was tons of fun!  It gave my boys an excellent opportunity to dance and interact with the characters.  We got some great candid shots.  Pluto was running around having a blast and Goofy was being  . . . . goofy.  It wasn't very crowded on the evening we were there so there was plenty of room for kids to run around and just be kids.  They also had balloon artists making balloon animals for kids at no charge - gotta love that.

Also during evening EMHs, Mulch, Sweat, and Shears (a super fun band) was playing in front of the Sorcerer's Hat.  They are very entertaining and Guests really seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
