I am going to Disney in January 2014, and would like to know how far in advance do I have to book a tour? What tours do you advise for my wife and I? We are healthy 60 year olds and love walking!

    Hi there Bill!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Several of the most popular tours at Walt Disney World do fill up well in advance. Although tours can be booked as far as 180 days in advance, availability may be possible just a few weeks or even a few days out. It really depends on the time of year and the tour(s) that you're interested in.

On a recent, adults-only trip to Walt Disney World, my husband and I enjoyed several wonderful tours. My top recommendations for you to enjoy would include:

~ Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour

    ~ Wild Africa Trek

~ Wilderness Back Trail Adventure Segway Tour

Adding special experiences like these to your Walt Disney World vacation make for some unforgettable memories! The Segway Tour, my husband and I both agree, was by far our favourite 'extra special experience' we've ever enjoyed during a Walt Disney World trip!

There are many additional tours available throughout the parks and resorts. Check the Special Events & Tours page for a full listing and call (407) WDW-TOUR to reserve your tours today!

If you have additional questions about the tours mentioned above, don't hesitate to write me back Bill. I'd love to hear from you again.

Wishing you a simply Magical time planning tours for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World!
