Ahoy there, Ashley!
Welcome back to planDisney! I think we’re all standing at the rail, scanning the horizon, eagerly awaiting the release of those new itineraries for the remainder of 2026—and hopefully catching a glimpse of the first few magical voyages of 2027.
Historically, Disney Cruise Line releases new itineraries three times a year, much like the changing of the tides. The first wave typically covers the early months (January through May), the second brings summer adventures (May through September), and the third opens the treasure chest for the fall (October through December). Right now, we’re on the edge of our seats waiting for those fall 2026 itineraries to drop so Guests can start booking their favorite seasonal sailings—like
Halloween on the High Seas and
Very Merrytime Cruises. If Disney follows its usual course, those could appear any day now… but as Captain Barbossa might say, “The code is more what you’d call guidelines than actual rules,” so timing can always change.
I completely understand your excitement for those early 2027 itineraries. While hearing that we’re currently expecting fall 2026 dates isn’t quite the pixie dust moment you were hoping for, here’s the good news: for the last two years, Disney released the fall itineraries and many of the early-year itineraries at the same time. That means there’s a real possibility we might see January 2027 voyages revealed alongside the fall 2026 schedule. We can’t promise it, but my compass is definitely pointing toward optimism.
In the meantime, now is a great time to dream big—
think about which ships, destinations, and stateroom types are on your wish list. That way, when the itineraries are released, you’ll be ready to book faster than Dash Parr can run the 100-meter dash.
I hope this helps you feel a little more prepared while we all wait for Disney to lift the curtain on these future adventures. Until then, may your countdown feel as magical as Rapunzel seeing the floating lanterns for the first time, and may your dream cruise be “part of your world” before you know it.
Sea ya real soon as we ride the wave of summer’s final stretch in Disney style,
Dustin
