We are going to Disney Jan 22-29 and have a 13 year old daughter and it will be her birthday while we are there. Can anyone recommend something special to book or do on her birthday?

    Hi Mary-Anne,

The first idea that comes to mind is to experience a Dolphins in Depth Tour with your daughter. Three years ago we arranged for my daughter (then 15) to experience the Dolphins in Depth tour with my brother (her Uncle). They both rate it as an A+ tour. I believe they take only 6-8 people at a time. So it is a small group, perfect for lots of up-close and personal time with the dolphins. The trainers divided the 3 hours up nicely. Part of the time was spent learning about the dolphins, and part of it was a chance to get in the water, feed and pet the dolphins, have your photo taken and more.

Another option is to rent Sea Raycers. These speedy boats are a lot of fun to cruise along the waterways.

If animals are her thing, you may want to book the Wild Africa Trek. This is the ultimate animal adventure and can be reserved by calling: Call (407) WDW-TOUR.

One last suggestion: If you think she would rather be pampered, set her up with a Mother and Daughter Package at The Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort.

Be sure to pick up her complimentary birthday button at Guest Relations. If you'd like to order her a cake you can call: 407-827-2253.

    Enjoy your vacation,
