Hi Kim, welcome to planDisney!
Congratulations on your decision to become an
Annual Passholder! I think it's a great idea for you, especially since you have two vacations planned so close together. If you haven't already, you can
purchase your Annual Pass online. Since you are not a Florida resident, you will need to select the Disney Incredi-Pass option, which is the one I have. Once you purchase the Annual Pass, you will receive a voucher that needs to be activated once you are at Walt Disney World. However, the system should recognize you as an Annual Passholder when you log into your Disney account and allow you to make a reservation with any Annual Passholder rates that may be available. You will need to show your Annual Pass at check-in so be sure to activate it prior to checking in to your resort hotel.
To activate your Annual Pass, you can visit a ticket booth at any of the theme parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Simply bring the information you received when you purchased your annual pass along with photo identification. Once you have a valid annual pass, you can immediately begin to use it for discounts for merchandise and at select dining locations. You'll want to keep your photo ID with you at all times as oftentimes you are asked to show your photo ID when using the discount.
Kim, you'll want to bookmark this
Annual Passholder Program page as it nicely outlines all the perks and discounts available to Annual Passholders. I also have the
special offers page bookmarked as a quick way to find discounts that might be available at Disney resort hotels. There is also a dedicated
phone number for Annual Passholders should you ever need it.
I hope you find this information helpful and please let us know if there is anything further we can assist you with.
