We will be at Disney Jan 2-8, when my husband is taking his mid-tour break from Afghanistan. We are hoping that the Christmas decorations will still be up at the parks since we have never been there around that time. Does anyone know if they still will be

    Hi Wendy!

Wow, it is so wonderful that your family will be able to have a Walt Disney World vacation during your husband's mid-tour break!  Typically, the Walt Disney World Holiday decorations begin coming down by the 3rd to 5th of January and they literally come down over night.  I would encourage you to make it a point on your arrival day to Walt Disney World (January 2nd, 2014) to tour the Resorts and Magic Kingdom to see the Holiday decorations before they go away until the next year.  A special thank you goes out to your husband for serving his country and making all of us proud!

I hope that your January 2014 Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
