    Bonjour Richard,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Based on my experience, you should still see some Christmas decorations in the Theme Parks, especially near the beginning of your visit. I’ve had the chance to visit the Disney Parks several times in early January and I’m happy to say that Holiday decorations are usually still around in the Theme Parks in early January and are really only put away once the Walt Disney World Resort Marathon Weekend’s festivities are over (which is on January 13th in 2019).

Please note, however, that decorations at most Walt Disney World Resort hotels have already been taken down, so you likely won’t be able to see those when you arrive for your vacation in early January.

As for what parades will be offered during that time, I wouldn’t expect to see any Christmas or other Holiday-themed offerings, but you should be able to see Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park. It’s usually seen daily at 2:00 pm, but be sure to check the Times Guide and Park Hours for when you’ll be visiting as its schedule is always subject to change.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également nous poser des questions en français!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
