I have never been to Disney and I’m wondering if I need to bring a car seat or if my 1yr old can sit on my lap

    Hi Melissa,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for assistance with your vacation planning!

I believe you are inquiring as to whether or not you need to bring a car seat for use on Disney's Magical Express complimentary transportation which brings you to and from Orlando International Airport. No, you do not need to bring a car seat. Your little one can sit comfortably on your lap or in the seat next to you. In fact, if you do choose to bring a car seat with you to Walt Disney World Resort, it will need to be stored in the luggage compartment underneath the motorcoach.

As a side note, I wanted to take a moment to make sure that you are familiar with Disney's Baby Care Centers. These incredibly convenient facilities are located in all four theme parks. I've included a video which shares some valuable information which I believe you will find very helpful.

    Wishing you magical memories,
