I am going to DIsney on 7/21 to 7/28/11 with my husband and my two children age 8 and 10 for the first time and I am looking for suggestions as to where we should eat (we have the Dining Package). and possibly an itinerary. Hotel staying at Carrribean Reso

    Hi Laura!

I recommend visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com and looking at their crowd calendar.  There you will see recommendations on which park to visit on which days of your vacation.  Their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of collected data.  As an engineer, I'm a huge fan of their work.  While on the site, you can also look at various touring plans, which are recommendations on what order to see the attractions in.  They are designed to minimize your wait in lines.

With regards to dining, I recommend the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge.  It's a great family restaurant and a lot of fun.  I also recommend having a Character Dining breakfast at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club.  Another great option is the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review at Fort Wilderness.  My favorite Table Service restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom is Tusker House and my favorite at Disney's Hollywood Studios is Mama Melrose, followed by the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater.  Epcot is full of great Table Service restaurants.  If you would like to look at the menus, I recommend visiting the independent website AllEars.net.  They do a great job keeping their information up to date.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
