I am going to Disney with my husband , our son who will be 2 1/2 and daughter who will be 1 in December. What rides are best for my son?

Hi Elizabeth! There are many great attractions in all parks at Walt Disney World so the hardest part will be to decide which park to head to first.

Great attractions in the Magic Kingdom include all of Fantasyland, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, the Enchanted Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise, Country Bear Jamboree, Tomorrowland People Mover and of course all of the parades and shows throughout the park.

Epcot attractions that will thrill the little ones include the Epcot Character Spot, Living With the Land boat ride, Journey Into Imagination, The Seas With Nemo and Friends, Turtle Talk With Crush, the World Showcase KidsCot stops, Mexico's Gran Fiesta boat ride, and parts of Innoventions.

In Hollywood Studios head to Toy Story Mania (kids will love to just ride and watch), Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Disney Junior On Stage, and Beauty and the Beast Live Show.

Children and animals go hand in hand so be sure and see the Festival of the Lion King, Camp Minnie and Mickey meet and greets, Kilimanjaro Safari ride, Pangani Forest Trail to see the gorillas, Maharajah Jungle Trek to see the tigers, the Boneyard, Finding Nemo the musical, and TriceraTop Spin.  The best stop here in this park will be Rafiki's Planet Watch where the kids can pet and brush the local sheep and goats and maybe even an exotic animal.  There are also great character meet and greets in this location.

Most of these suggestions have your son in mind as your daughter will be along for the ride. But I have taken my own children and grandchildren when they were that age and I wouldn't trade any minute of the experience.  My daughter first giggled when she was 11 months old in the Tiki Bird show and it remains part of my heart at Disney!
