Hi Donna!
Oh boy, I’m excited to hear that you’re coming to the Walt Disney World Resort just in time for a very special Christmas Day visit. I truly believe the holiday season is the Most Magical Time of the Year, and you’re going to have so much fun and be so inspired by the amazing decorations, sounds, smells, and tastes that week. I was at Disney’s Riviera Resort last year during Christmas week so I’m happy to share these details with you.
Unfortunately, there is not a service where Disney offers Christmas trees to be on display inside your resort room. Our pals Mickey and Minnie, plus the amazing teams of Cast Members around Walt Disney World, have done all the hard work for you and share their gorgeous tree displays with us throughout the theme parks and resorts. Disney’s Riviera Resort has a stunning display in their lobby and additional lush Christmas touches throughout this stylish resort. You are welcome to bring a small artificial tree for your room, and please adhere to all safety guidelines by ensuring its stable and unplugging everything when you leave the room.
Here are some of my favorite locations to enjoy larger-than-life Christmas trees, have your photo taken in front of it, enjoy a holiday treat, and just savor the incredible atmosphere of this special place during the holidays:
Of course, we can’t forget the amazing trees at the theme parks too. In Magic Kingdom Park, the tree is so large on Main Street, USA that your family can be photographed underneath it! At Port of Entry, you’ll find the magical tree at EPCOT and of course throughout the country pavilions to honor different cultures around the world. Disney’s Hollywood Studios brings the tinsel and glam to their decorating style, and I adore the earthy tones of the tree outside Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park at the main gate.
I hope this information has you excited for this special trip that is quickly approaching, Donna! Please be sure to make your list and check it twice to catch all of the special touches for a wonderous Christmas visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Wishing you a magical holiday season,
Amy
