Ahoy, Kristin! I am so happy to welcome you to planDisney. A trip to
Walt Disney World Resort and aboard a
Disney Cruise Line ship is the most magical vacation combination!
Transportation service to
Port Canaveral is available at all hotels within the
Disney Resorts Collection. Adding a
pre- or post-hotel stay and/or
resort transfer only takes a phone call to arrange. Cast Members can help you find and make reservations for these services that enhance and connect your vacation destinations. Not only does it mean two vacations in one (which is amazing in itself), but you can be a "Passenger Princess" in the most magical way possible.
Disney Cruise Line will send you luggage tags before your cruise. Be sure to bring these with you, but do not attach them to your bags until the morning of your cruise. Your Disney resort will have information for you on where to take your luggage and board the (motor) coach that will
take you wonder by wonder. The bags you leave with Cast Members will
automagically appear at your stateroom door on board your ship. Be sure to pack a carry-on bag to keep your required
travel documents (proof of citizenship) and any essentials you need.
Also, with Disney transportation on your cruise reservation, you do not need to pick a Port Arrival Time when you complete your
online pre-arrival check-in. This is one of the benefits of using this service. However, you should still complete the check-in to load your proof of citizenship, a photo of each Guest in your stateroom and a form of payment for onboard charges. This will make checking in at the port easier, as they will just need to verify everything instead of adding it all.
Kristin, if we can help with any questions about the Most Magical Place on Earth or the most magical ships at sea, you've got a friend in
planDisney.
