Which Disney hotel offers the most fun for children 4 - 8?

Hi, Kelly!  My kids have stayed at each of the Walt Disney World resort hotels, and I can't think of any that they didn't have fun staying in!

If you are looking for the most awesome pool, I'd recommend staying at either the Yacht or Beach Club resorts.  Stormalong Bay, which is the pool area for both resorts, is the most amazing on Walt Disney World property, with a lazy river, water slide, great kids area, and sand!  Another great pool area for kids is located at the Caribbean Beach Resort.  Also at Caribbean Beach are the pirate themed rooms, which are quite cool for kids and grown ups!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a resort like no other that I've ever seen.  We love to get a room with a view of the savanna, so we can wake up each morning to see giraffes, zebras, and other animal varieties.  There are African storytellers outside in the evening, and you can even get night vision goggles to see the animals after dark.  This is also home to Simba's Clubhouse, which is a children's activity center.  You can arrange to leave your children there for a few hours while you go have some grown up time, and they will have all sorts of fun things to do.  Dinner is included, and the cost is $11.25 per hour per child.

Many resorts have activities planned during the day - from poolside games to craft activities.  Check at whichever resort you choose.

    Have a great vacation!
