Hi Lisa! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
One of my favorite things about
Walt Disney World is the vast array of experiences that are offered across the Resort! There are special events that take place at the parks and resorts that can be a great addition to your trip. Unfortunately, Night of Joy was discontinued a few years back, much to the dismay of Guests that loved this show. This event was a music festival that was held each September at various locations around the Resort. Even though this is the case, there is still plenty of live music to catch at Walt Disney World.
When you arrive in September, I would be on the lookout for the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This has been a popular event that takes place each year where you can taste food and drinks from all around the world. There is also the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series at EPCOT that will host both internationally recognized artists and local bands. You can find this concert series at the America Gardens Theatre located in the World Showcase. I've been in attendance for a few of these shows, and each artist has been an absolute blast to watch!
If you have time to make it over to Disney Springs, this is the best place to enjoy live music. Many of the restaurants and bars will offer music on select nights.
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant has delicious, authentic food and a lively atmosphere. They will typically offer music both inside on the stage and outside on the patio. I would suggest checking with the restaurant to find out the music schedule if you have any interest.
House of Blues Restaurant & Bar is another fantastic option. I love walking over to the West Side of Disney Springs to catch some of the entertainment and enjoy the atmosphere in that area.
Lisa, I hope you have the best time during your visit later this year!
