Hi Alison! Welcome to planDisney!
It's never too early to begin planning your next
Walt Disney World holiday! With everything that goes into the planning process, getting a head start will help ensure your stay is as magical as possible.
While the parks and resorts continue to evolve, so does your traveling party. You must have special memories of visiting when your daughter was younger, and will continue to do so as she gets older. Since you'll be booking two
Disney Resort hotel rooms on this stay, you can make special requests for their location by
calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line. Depending on the resort you are staying in, there may be a small inventory of connecting rooms available. While you can ask for this type of room, requests will not be guaranteed. The Cast Member assigning your rooms will take this information into consideration and do their best to accommodate all Guests.
Once you arrive for your stay, I suggest stopping by the
front desk of your resort to ensure that they have this information. If connecting rooms are unavailable, they may be able to locate two rooms close by. While you may not have an internal connecting door, being located on the same floor and vicinity may be helpful as well.
One of the greatest perks of staying in a Disney Resort hotel is the
complimentary transportation to and from your resort each day. Once you arrive, you'll never have to worry about how to get from one destination to another. If you haven't visited in a bit, the
Disney Skyliner is the latest mode of transportation that will get you to multiple theme parks. There are several resorts that sit along its path, which makes it incredibly easy to get to many dining locations as well.
Alison, I hope you have a fantastic time planning for your stay!
