Hi There! We will be going to Disney for our honeymoon in September of this year. We have the Disney dining plan, and I have been trying to figure out where to go but there are so many choices!! Any suggestions on where to go?

    Hi Jessie,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!  How very excited you must be.  I honeymooned at Walt Disney World twenty years ago and can verify first hand that it is an amazingly romantic place to spend time with someone you love.

You are right about there being an abundance of dining options at Walt Disney World.  I will point out to you some of the ones I consider most romantic.  Definitely plan on a meal at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  I just ate at the Grand Floridian Cafe two nights ago and it was lovely.  Narcoossee's and Citricos are two other table service restaurants worth considering at this resort, but they are considered signature dining experiences and cost two Disney Dining Plan (DDP) credits per person.  Whichever of these restaurants you choose, plan to spend an hour or two out on the beach at this resort after dinner.  They have lovely hammocks and beach chairs that you and your new husband can enjoy together.  You can even watch the Electrical Water Pageant and the fireworks over Cinderella Castle from this beach.   It doesn't get much more romantic than that!

Also consider a dinner at Kona Cafe in Disney's Polynesian Resort.  This is less busy and kid-oriented than the neighboring 'Ohana restaurant.  The sandy beach at this resort is also worthy of a post-dinner stroll.

While in Epcot, make a reservation at the San Angel Inn.  This is the older of the two table service restaurants in Mexico and it gets an A+ for romantic ambience.  Les Chefs de France is another lovely option for couples in Epcot.

These are just a few options to get you started with your dining plans.  Don't hesitate to let me know if there are other questions I can answer for you.

Wishing you pixie dust as you plan your honeymoon!
