Does Disney have a Halloween hay ride?

    Hiya Glenda,

I am so glad you stopped by planDisney with your great question. Halloween is such a spooktacular time at Walt Disney World Resort and this year is even better as you will be able to enjoy all the new and exciting changes that are part of The World's Most Magical Celebration. Be sure you save some time to stroll around The World Showcase where the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is underway. You and your taste buds can nibble and sip your way through 6 continents as you can purchase various sampler size food and beverage options. Be sure to come hungry!

Hay rides just seem to go hand in hand with the fall and Halloween. Unfortunately there is not a hay ride option currently offered at any of the theme parks or Disney resorts. While Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort has previously offered horse drawn excursions - wagon rides, they are not currently available and there has not been an announcement on when they might return. While I know it is not a wagon and there is no hay or a horse, a great option would be the Ferrytale Fireworks: Sparkling Dessert Cruise. Not only does it smell better, there are scrumptious desserts, a relaxing boat ride and an amazing view of the fireworks from Magic Kingdom. The cruise is currently sailing on select Wednesday and Saturday evenings and advance reservations are highly recommended.

Hopefully this will put some giddy-up back in to your fall festivities! I hope you have a boo-tiful trip and if I can help with any further planning questions, please stop back and see me
