I am going to Disney with 2 grandchildren 2 and 6 years are there any kind of harnesses available so that the children will not wonder off

Hi Harold! I have grandchildren the same age plus one who is four.  We all have a wonderful time when vacationing at Walt Disney World.

Disney does not offer any sort of child harness system. If this is what you feel would be best for your family then I suggest you check on line for companies who might sell this product.  What has always worked for us is simply a stroller. The parks will have strollers for daily rentals that will fit both children. My six year old grandson doesn't want to use one and insists on walking but it is always nice to have something to keep them constrained when the parks do get crowded and you want to move quickly.

You can also have ID bracelets made for the kids. Some parents feel better having that on their children just in case they get separated. Disney cast members are well trained about what to do in case a child is lost and they act quickly and efficiently and usually it is within minutes when families are reunited.

Get the children used to holding hands with you or each other. Have the older one feel important by helping keep the younger one close by whether it be when standing in lines or walking down the park streets. Consider having everyone wear same colored bright shirts or hats to help keep everyone in sight. This really works as this is a trick my family uses.
