    We will be at disney with grandchildren 1-11-11 thru 1-17-11 and have reservations for dinner at 6. How long does it take to get from French Quarter to the castle for dinner--don't want to be late and kids need to put on their princes dresses.

    Hi Theresa!  Luck you to be traveling with your grandchildren!  It is one of my favorite trips now during the year to bring my own grandkids along for some Disney magic!

    You will want to catch the bus from Port Orleans French Quarter to the Magic Kingdom and this trip will take approximately 17 minutes.  You need to add to that wait time for the bus which could be up to about 15-20 minutes and then another 15-20 minutes to walk to the castle from the entrance of the park. For dressing at the park you will want to add another 10 minutes. You can find restrooms next to City Hall when you enter or up Main Street and just behind the Plaza Restaurant.  It is best to give yourself plenty of time and then have the chance to walk leisurely to your dining reservation.  Those that cut it close will only stress themselves out and not enjoy the experience.
