Hi Emma! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Disney Gift Cards are a great way to budget for a Disneyland Resort vacation, especially since you can use them as a form of payment when purchasing your
theme park admission ticket. However, you can only apply one Disney Gift Card as payment per transaction. I have some suggestions for how to work around this limitation in the system.
First, you can combine Disney Gift Cards up to a limit of $1000 on the
Disney Gift Card website. Log on to the website using your Disney login credentials. At the top of the page, you should see "My Cards," where you can enter each card's number under "Add a Card." After you have added your card numbers, you can transfer the balances to the card you'd like to make your consolidated card. The only limitation is that the total balance on a card can't exceed $1000. This consolidated card will now be the one you use to pay for your theme park admission tickets.
If the combined total of your three cards would exceed $1000, you'd still be left with more than one card. In that case, you have two more options. You can call the
Tickets Phone Line, so a friendly Cast Member can assist you with your transaction, or you can divide your ticket purchases into multiple transactions and pay with a different Disney Gift Card for each transaction.
Any value left on your Disney Gift Card can be used in the parks toward food and merchandise. You won't be able to add the card to your payment methods on the
Disneyland mobile app, so save the number in the notes app on your device for easy copy and pasting when it comes time to complete your
mobile order purchases. I budgeted for my dining that way on my most recent trip and it worked out great!
I hope you have the most magical visit.
